Suspended from the structure above on 304 stainless steel threaded rod — powder-coated to match. Projections of 4 to 8 feet and beyond, ideal for storefronts and entries that need generous coverage.

Who installs a JW Direct canopy?
Your crew does. Every system ships as a bolt-together kit — no field welding — with labeled components, install-ready shop drawings, and a complete hardware pack. A typical entrance canopy installs with a two- to three-person crew and a lift. And if your installer hits a question in the field, they can call our shop and talk to the people who built it.
How long will my order take?
Typical lead time is 4-8 weeks from drawing approval to shipment, depending on the complexity of the system. Simple hanger rod and cantilever canopies land at the front of that range; larger or more complex configurations toward the back. We give you a specific lead time with your quote.
Can I get stamped engineering for permits?
Yes. Stamped structural calculations from a licensed Professional Engineer are available for an additional charge — most building departments require them for permit approval. Tell us the project state and we'll handle the rest.
How does freight work?
Systems ship FOB from our Shelby, North Carolina plant to anywhere in the US. Everything is crated and labeled for freight. We can arrange shipping for you or load your preferred carrier — your choice.
Can you match a specific color?
Yes. Every system is powder-coated to AAMA 2604 in virtually any color. We can match RAL numbers, brand color standards, or existing building finishes from a sample.
What if my project is in the Southeast?
Then you have options. JW Direct is available anywhere in the US, but across our nine-state installation territory we can also handle the install with our own crews — one contract, fabrication through final walkthrough. We'll quote it both ways if you want to compare.
